4th Annual Round Robin Tennis
The Fourth Annual Round Robin Tennis Tournament was held at Bent Tree on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Thirty-two men and women vied for the championship of the tourney, which raised $4500 for scholarships for varsity players at Pickens High School.
The women’ champions were: Charlotte Newman – 1st; Diane Winn – 2nd; Eileen Foresman – 3rd. The men’s champions were: Keith Galligan – 1st; Skylar Denton – 2nd; David Johnson – 3rd.
In addition to the $30 fee paid by the participants, the tourney was aided by many sponsors. Many individuals in Bent Tree also contributed to the cause.
