Successful Ongoing Partnership with FATZ Café
By Colin Thompson
The Bent Tree Foundation held its eleventh fundraising breakfast at FATZ Café on Saturday morning, November 17. FATZ continues to provide this fundraising opportunity for various charitable and humanitarian purposes. As always, our wonderful volunteers were the waiters, servers and dishwashers; and our attendees were provided a fine meal plus the enjoyment of being served by their neighbors. This fundraiser was held to raise money for the Foundation’s Stray Animal Care Fund, the Scholarship/Grant Fund as well as other Foundation missions.
The Foundation sold raffle tickets for the opportunity to win one of eight prizes. Our winners were: Jim Cox won an Amazon Kindle; Pat Yates won a bottle of Glenmorangie Scotch Whisky; Linda Camp won a bottle of Remy Martin Cognac; Dan Bell won a $50 Woodbridge gift certificate; Barry Foy won a $50 HoneyBaked Ham gift certificate; Irene Robertson won a $25 Tom’s Awesome Seafood gift certificate; Sidnea Fankhauser won a $25 Carriage House gift certificate; and Harold Ford won a decorative bear gourd. Congratulations to all our winners!
We so appreciate all of your donations, your attendance and your volunteerism and look forward to our twelfth FATZ breakfast next March. Please remember to support the business sponsors who continually assist the Foundation – particularly those listed above.
