The 6th Annual Bent Tree Tennis Tournament for Scholarships was held at Bent Tree on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Sixty participants enjoyed a fun day of tennis in which $8200 was raised for Pickens High School tennis squad seniors. Fans were treated to men and women pro/am matches that raised the level of play for the spectators. During the middle of the day, spectators enjoyed round robin matches, food, gifts, and door prizes.
The women’s section winners were: Carol Lively and Paris Yandall.
The men’s section winners were: Robert Blanton and Scott Blackwell.
