BTFI & Bent Tree Residents Support C.A.R.E.S. Back-to-School Program in 2010 & 2011

In 2010 and 2011 C.A.R.E.S. reached out to the Bent Tree Foundation with a request for assistance with their Back-to-School Program. As most know, C.A.R.E.S. is a charity that helps local residents obtain and maintain basic needs for their families. In this instance, C.A.R.E.S. was requesting the funds to provide clothing and school supplies for the children of Pickens County who needed this assistance to be ready to return to the classroom.

The Bent Tree Foundation is pleased to report that in 2010 and 2011 the Foundation and the generous residents of Bent Tree provided C.A.R.E.S. with a substantial portion of the total funding for this extremely worthwhile cause.
